Good hostel with an awesome views from the shared space, it was awesome to have dinner watching sunset over the mountains. I stayed a few times at this hostel during my trip to the Rockies. Coffee available at reception for $2. Strong wi-fi, comfy beds. Kitchen is open till 10 pm. You can go to Banff for $6 on a local bus, the stop is in 50 meters. Location is good for trail running or hiking as many routes start from the city centre nearby the hostel

This place is amazing, just book in, you definitely will not regret it! Location is fantastic, rooms, bed and facilities are perfect, its one of the best places I have ever stayed and I have travelled a lot. The rooms are first class hotel quality, with the friendly communal areas that come with it being a hostel. A total hidden gem!

I felt really comfortable during my stay. Clean with really helpful spacious kitchen, breakfast included and there is nice area to hang out too. Close to downtown and river. Supermarket in the next block. Would stay here even another time :)

great facility at the HI Lake Louise, great on site restaurant. would eat here again for sure! but also nice clean kitchen which was well appointed if self catering.

The parking is conveniently located right in front of the hostel, making it easy to access. They offer free bus tickets if you want to head down to the village, though we didn’t use them, it’s a nice offer to have. The place is very peaceful if you're looking to feel surrounded by nature, yet still cozy, as there are other guests around. We used the kitchen to cook, which was very practical, and my boyfriend had breakfast at the restaurant. Everything was great—both the bathrooms and showers were clean, and our room was perfect for us. We had a private room, and while the bed wasn’t very big, it was comfortable enough for one night. The staff was friendly and helpful.
