The rooms will provide guests with a minibar. Everything went smoothly, the host was very kind and helpful. Regardless of the bad weather we got for three days, the pousada was well attended. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. The place was always tidy, clean and really comfortable. You can tell that its tenant is taking great care of the house and garden, it’s really a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend it and I might come back myself.

I believe Refugio was one of the best Hostels I have ever stayed in. Super clean, comfy bed, friendly staff, fair price, good area if you have to work. I would recommend it to everyone and would return when I can.

The breakfast in the morning was among the best I l've ever found in an hostel. The staff is also very nice, they did everything to make sure I could extend my stay and I had a nice one. Everything here was so wonderful, it is half indoors and half outdoors and very pleasant. Great showers, places to hang towels and wet clothes outside, small but functional kitchen, so quiet and peaceful at nighttime and yet still very close to everything in the downtown area. The family is very friendly, the common areas are comfortable and have helpful books for planning trips around the island. There is a water filter so you never have to worry about drinking water or making too much plastic bottle waste. The beds have privacy curtains, the fan for nighttime is strong and comfortable, the lockers all work and everything is very safe here.
