Situated in the women's division of the World Heritage-listed Fremantle Prison, this YHA offers a mix of private and shared rooms with access to free WiFi. Guests can also choose to sleep in the actual prison cells. The staff was friendly and kind. There were activities catering to all ages, which was so nice for my family. It was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the beautiful displays honoring the unique history of the prison.

The female room and bathrooms are clean, well taken care of, and there's also complimentary body wash in the showers and hair dryer. The kitchen has all the essentials, great for preparing meals, and even has a coffeemaker. There's plenty of space to sit and chill, everyone is so respectful. The wi-fi works well and the location is also good; easy to navigate if you're using the bus, it's only just one ride away from Perth station/airport line. For Muslims, the hostel is also about 300m from the mosque for a quick visit or prayers.

The location was unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. The dorms were clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the privacy curtains on the beds. Great vibes and an excellent choice for solo travelers!

The place was clean, with great service, and met some amazing people. I arrived alone and left with many friends. I recommend this place. Beds are good, the kitchen is big and you have a lot of kitchen stuff if you compare to the rest of the hostels in Perth. The staff cleans as much as possible. They are not responsable if someone is not respectful. You have a few freezers and fridges to stock your food. Commons areas are a good place to meet new people ! Just be aware it can noisy especially the weekend because you are located in Northridge. The rapport price quality is unbeatable.
