Lech Hostel was easily my best accommodation experience in Europe. The host, Anna, is so kind and helpful in providing hiking recommendations, and she created such a welcoming environment. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, the kitchen has new appliances and stove / fridge and it is comfortable to cook there and engage with other travellers. It is in a fantastic location, just a few minutes from the centre of Lech and very close to the Oberlech cable car and the buses that take you up the valley to the start of the hikes. I would recommend Lech Hostel to everyone. It is affordable and exceeds expectations for the price.

I really appreciated this stay. The comfort and service was beyond what i expected for the price. I had a big room with toilet and shower, balcony, view to the mountain. I could borrow a bike for trips (even borrowed a daypack). And the owner and the staff was very kind. The place also has a kitchen you can borrow. A bar is connected to the hotel.

Wonderful and clean place in Elmau. It was our starting point for the Kaiserkrone hike. The staff was nice and very informative, grocery shops and restaurants were also nearby. Would love to visit again.
