My stay at the hostel was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere here is the best! I met amazing people here. Volunteers are so cool as well as the owner who is really kind and helpful. If you go to Saranda make sure you stay at Lazy Roo Hostel. I totally recommend it.

This newly opened hostel greatest feature is the friendly staff, and the air con in the spotless rooms as it’s been 30+ degrees outside, plenty hot water, a filtered cold water tap to top up your bottles and mountain tea.. quieter vibe not a party place suited me fine.

The owner and his mother were so nice and helpful. We felt totally welcome. We had the feeling that they had tried everything to fulfil our wishes. When we walked into town, Daniel even offered to pick us up. The location may not be central, but the rooms and also the outside area are nice and clean, the coffee for breakfast was delicious. The hospitality is priceless and at the same time you get more than enough for your money.

The location (and view from the terrace) was beautiful, well worth the walk up the hill! The rooms were a good size and had excellent heating for February. Jennifer and George went above and beyond as hosts - I would definitely recommend staying here and chatting to them.

I was very satisfied with my stay at the hostel in Himara. The hostel was clean and comfortable, and I stayed in a tent that was fully equipped and cozy.
