It’s a beautiful place, build by a retired mother that worked as a teacher and now wants to leave a bussiness for her two dauthers. You can see the love on the place and wanting to do stuff as good as possible. They have little semiapartments with shared half kitchens (not stove but fridge, a sink, glasses and plates), the room I stayed had a balcony with beautiful views to the nile river, had airconditioning but also a fan, so you can chose. The shower has a heater, and though it has an interesting design just in the middle of the toilet, it works and is very good. The owner incredibly nice, very nice person to talk with. Her dauther is the only one doing Bird watching tours in Aswan (even being featured on the Lonely planet).

The space and everything was top. We initially booked another villa, however Boroski assisted moved us to another one that will suit our group. We were given the whole room to ourselves - we were 8 of us. The kitchen was clean and space was big. Bathroom was well maintained and cleaned. The staffs were very friendly and kind. Comfort collected our laundry and was done on time. We love it here. It was very close to the Corniche beach. We walked around the neighbourhood to explore without any issue.

The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the clean and inviting atmosphere of the hostel. What truly makes Aya Hostel special are the wonderful brothers who run it, Mr. Salah, Mr. Shahata, and Mr. Islam. They are respectful, helpful, and always wearing a smile that brightens your day. Their warmth and laughter create an uplifting environment that makes you feel at home. They provide excellent guidance on everything you need to know in Madinah, from directions to the Masjid Nabawi to recommendations for shops with great prices and laundry services. They are also a fantastic resource for navigating transport between cities, including bus and train schedules. The hospitality doesn’t end there! They serve delightful tea and coffee, always paired with enjoyable conversations and a great sense of humor. These brothers truly feel like family, and their genuine care for guests is evident. Whenever I return to Madinah, I know Aya Hostel will be my first choice, In shaa Allah. A big thank you to Mr. Salah, Mr. Shahata, and Mr. Islam for making my stay unforgettable!
