The staff are very nice except for the white lady who did not care to get a key for the one room that was allocated to us. We slept for two days without a key, which is scary considering that Melville is one of the hot spots area in Johannesburg.

Honestly, I don't understand the reviews here. I was expecting something horrible, but it's actually a nice hostel. I liked this: Room: clean, good bed Staff: everyone friendly Location: Fantastic, in a safe area (Rosebank), near Gautrain station (easy connection to Sandton, Airport, Pretoria, and so on). Less than 5 minutes walk to 24/7 grocery store. Near is a coffee shop and in a walkable distance is Rosebank mall (restaurants, shops). Shower: clean, hot water Laundry service: cheap, fast.

This is without any doubt a five star hostel with a beautiful garden and a big swimming pool in a nice neighborhood with easy public transport to Joburg central . It is quite a dream , I can not say anything else. I am so happy here that I am staying for another 15 days . Thank you so much . This a perfect place .
