It was great value for the money, the breakfast was really tasty, and the bed was really comfy. They have as well pool and rooftop bar so you can have fun evening there. Hostel is located in the center of the Phong Nha city so you was a lot of restaurants and caffès around it.

Very nice family owned hostel! They offered me to eat with them, which was a great local experience. Also booked the adventure tour at the golden cave (definetly recommended because only 1 group enters the cave - no other tourist)

The Palm Lodge is a lovely new hostel right in the center of Phong Nha. It only opened a few weeks ago, and you can really feel how passionate the owner, Hung, is about his place! Hung and his staff genuinely care about your well-being and always make sure you feel at home. On top of that, they run a small restaurant where you can enjoy delicious local dishes – everything I tried was fresh and tasty! If you need help booking tours or rentals, they’re more than happy to assist and give helpful advice. All in all, I had a great stay at The Palm Lodge and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Phong Nha!

The homestay is located directly at the river in an more peaceful area and has an amazing view towards the mountains. The breakfast was always tasty and the staff was very helpful and always very nice to us. The rooms were very clean and spacious as well.

An absolutely fantastic stay here! Our hosts were beyond accommodating picking us up in the early hours of the morning from our bus! Our host made us feel welcome and took us to various locations as a taxi was not available. A real family and friendly feel, couldn’t recommend enough!
