ThailandBean is the best! We have never experienced so much service in a hostel. We stayed here before and after the Ha Giang loop. He recognized us and gave us a very warm welcome. Bean even remembered which room we had and gave us the same room. We had lots of laundry after the tour. Bean arranged that our laundry would be ready before the next morning 8am (we arrived at like 6pm). That was so nice of him. We really appreciated it.
Another example: Bean also texted the bus company for us to organize a pickup at the hostel when we left, which was WAY NICE! You can also book a bus ticket at the hostel.
There are some places to eat at walking distance but the kitchen has a wide variety of dishes so I would recommend to just eat there.
Another tip: at first we didn't know how to get to the hostel (we came by bus from Hanoi). Bean advised us to ask the bus driver to drop us off at the hostel and that was okay so problem solved!
Oh and Bong, the dog, is so very cute as well!

DenmarkI was using crutches at the time, and was having trouble going up the stairs, so they help my carry my things upstairs and help me get up there, then they told me to just stay at this floor and they would bring me food so I didn’t have to use the stairs an unnecessary amount of time. Absolutely amazing.

It’s hard to put into words just how wholesome, helpful, and amazing Ross is. He started assisting us even before we arrived in Vietnam, and from the very beginning, he proved to be one of the coolest people you could ever meet. From booking our motorbike to giving us invaluable advice—everything went smoothly from start to finish.
Well, it’s actually hard to talk about "the finish," because Ross continues to help us throughout our stay in Vietnam. Our daily chats with him genuinely brighten my day.
About the property…
The bungalow looks like it was taken straight out of Bali—minus the ocean and sand. You wake up to a perfect view of the pool, the hostel, and one very handsome bald guy. The food is delicious and truly captures the taste of Vietnam. The drinks and cocktails are carefully selected and mixed, creating an unforgettable experience.
Rain or shine, staying at NoMadders is simply f***ing awesome.

AustraliaThe staff OMG! BEST staff I have ever met in ALL of Vietnam. If you want to do the Ha GIANG Loop. Please pick Lotus Group. They are wonderful, their drivers know all the local places that are less touristy and they know exactly when to go when there is the least amount of people.
Best drivers include but not limited to:
Hieudog - Tour Leader, Funny sober - hilarious if you give him happy water! He will make sure you are taken care of always. I lost my belongings at a club and without hesitation I hopped on his bike and he took me to the club where I lost my stuff. Got it back!
Thai - my driver - exceptional at driving, fast bike, most genuine and wonderful guy! Cool stories, English wonderful!
Tien - young fella with a new born boy! Don’t mind him if he is FaceTiming his family, he is a police officer, a driver, can sing karaoke, can spar, what can’t he do!

I had an unforgettable experience staying at Trip Ha Giang during my trip to Ha Giang. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made me feel right at home.
The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and local charm. I especially loved waking up to the stunning view of the mountains and rice terraces right outside my window. It was like something out of a postcard!
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to assist with everything – from motorbike rentals to suggesting hidden gems in the area that only locals would know. Their knowledge and passion for their hometown truly enhanced my experience.
The food at the homestay was another highlight. Each meal was homemade, fresh, and delicious – a true taste of northern Vietnamese cuisine. Sharing dinner with other travelers and the host family was a wonderful way to connect and learn more about local culture.
Whether you’re exploring the Ha Giang Loop or just looking for a peaceful escape in nature, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s more than just a place to sleep – it’s a home away from home.

We booked the Loop tour with lotus and they made the whole experience easy and flawless. The English was superb by most staff. Honestly couldn't have asked for an easier experience, arriving late afternoon, booking, and then doing the tour the very next day. The easy rider drivers were all super safe and we had the best time. For the Hostel, the private double rooms were large with a spacious bathroom. Bed was comfy and the breakfast was adequate. Would stay again.

Good location, friendly people there and some english is spoken. Rented a motorbike from them - was nice, brand new (850km done), with no problem renting and returning after 5 days. They provide garage for parking.
BUT - this place rather than hostel is "Ha Giang loop tour factory". Rooms ware spacious, bunk bed has courtain for some privacy, night light and electric socket, some locker available. Towel also. Wifi OK

This was one of my favourite stays of our travels in Vietnam so far. The hostel itself was peaceful, quiet and in a really great location with mountain views in the background. Bean was incredibly helpful with organising transport to and from the hostel, as well as organising the ha giang loop bike tour. We were very fortunate to have really great drivers, felt very safe and comfortable with their riding and got along well with them despite the language barrier. They were all so friendly! Also Bong the dog was a cutie 😊

Mr. Bean is super nice and helpful. He speaks very good English and did his best to give us a good time in the hostel. He is easy to reach via Whatsapp and helps you out with all your questions. We spent one night in the bungelow which was very clean and cheap. From the hostel we did the Loop tour with easyriders. They drove very safely and the tour was fantastic. I would absolutely recommend the stay and tour here!
