the staff is super helpful they also have free beer every night and really cheap motor bike rental I would say it is a bit difficult to get to town if you dont know how to ride a scooter in but the location is really close to the national park as well whic is great and theres a pool the food and drinks are all reasonably priced

Really sweet deal, with heaps of activities and good vibes. Cheap scooter rental and delicious breakfast included. Been to many hostels before but this one is definitely exceeding all of our expectations. We've got the 4 beds dormitory, which includes a private bathroom.

I liked the atmosphere of Cat ba hostel. It was in the centre and close to everything. The bed was super comfortable and spacious. The restaurant on the bottom floor was very good quality and I loved the free breakfast. It was very taste. The highlight for me was the attitude of the staff and employees, so friendly and caring. Very easy to sort any trips etc. I would also like to note an act of kindness by one of the staff members called Vu. I mistakenly left my clean laundry at the hostel and only realised when I was back in Hanoi. Vu had the laundry dropped down to a bus station where I collected it in Hanoi. A powerful act of kindness. Thanks Vu. Would 100% recommended This hostel.

This is a beautiful setting for a few nights stay. The room was excellent and the views stunning. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was cleaned daily and we loved the location as it was away from the busy town. I would highly recommend this as place to stay on the island

Very cool aesthetic tucked away in the jungle, bamboo and thatch roof dorms/tents for a camping in nature feel. Staff super friendly and helpful. Laundry/bike rental nearby they will drop you to. Also had the coolest common room guitar I've ever come across.
