The wi-fi was very fast and the staff were friendly! The recent renovations did make the hostel into a cozy place, though there were some kinks in the process: the bathroom door in our dorm, for example, did not close all the way without slamming it into place. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay!

I had a wonderful stay at Nap York for a week as a solo female traveller from Europe visiting America for the first time. The location was great - just a couple of minutes walk from Broadway, Times Square and Central Park, with loads of food options on the same block. The facilities were always clean and theres free tea and coffee which is nice. The staff were mostly kind, especially Siomara who was super welcoming and friendly. She was so sweet to give suggestions when asked and very helpful in general. She always greets you with a smile and goes out of her way to help if she can.

Conveniently located, this hostel is a warm, home-like place to stay. The clean cozy decorated cubicles have the necessary space to sleep and baggage storage. Toilettes are clean and spacious. And the public area always smell like fresh coffee and delicious fruits and homemade bakery that you can enjoy for free. People in charge are nice and helpful , they are always there in case you need anything.

The hotel felt so cozy and warm. I loved the design especially in the lobby area. It made you stay in the there and hang out with other guests. The staff was super friendly and very helpful with anything that I needed. I loved this place and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!

I love this place. It’s always nice being there. It’s clean and you get exactly what you pay for. Ear plugs are recommended due to it being a hostel but there is no better place for me if I stay in New York by myself.

When considering the prices of other hotels, which are much more expensive, this hotel has received a number of unfavourable reviews. I was initially hesitant about booking, especially since I reserved this hotel twice for our trip—once for our arrival and once for our departure from the USA. However, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel is close to several metro lines. There is always someone at the reception available 24 hours a day, and they respond quickly to messages. While the room is small, as stated in the listing, it provides everything you need: clean towels, bedding, and both a room and a shared bathroom. The bathroom is cleaned several times a day. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap. I encourage everyone to read the details provided when booking. Don't blame the hotel if you expected a larger room with amenities like a TV, balcony, microwave, fridge, etc. What is stated on the booking page is what you will receive. Another plus is friendly staff who work at the reception.
