I recently had an amazing time at Your Zanzibar Place. This place quickly became my favorite spot on the island. The environment is super cool, and it's in such a great location that I could easily explore the nearby beaches. The hostel's bar was a blast to hang out in. I met so many cool people and had some great conversations over drinks. They also offer a variety of delicious food options in the restaurant, always served with a big smile:) But what really blew me away was the owner's hospitality. On my last day, as I had to head back to Stone Town to catch my flight, I encountered a bit of trouble. I couldn't find petrol for my scooter anywhere in Paje. Just when I thought I was stuck, the owner came to the rescue and provided me with the petrol I needed. He really saved the day! Overall, my stay at Your Zanzibar Place was incredible. The laid-back atmosphere, tasty food & cocktails, and awesome hospitality made it an unforgettable experience. I'll definitely be recommending this place to anyone heading to Zanzibar, and I can't wait to come back myself...

Drifters Hostel in Zanzibar is honestly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The owner, David, is incredibly kind, welcoming, and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels at home. The accommodation itself is amazing — comfortable, clean, and designed perfectly for both solo travellers and groups looking to meet people and have a good time. The location is absolutely unreal. You’re right on the beach with insane sunsets and crystal-clear water just steps away. It’s the kind of spot you think only exists in photos until you get there. Now the food… 11/10. I’m not exaggerating. Every meal is delicious, fresh, and really reasonably priced — especially for solo travellers on a budget. Whether you’re chilling, exploring, or looking to socialise, Drifters has the perfect vibe. Couldn’t recommend it more. If you’re coming to Zanzibar and looking for a place that feels like home but better, stay at Drifters. You won’t want to leave.

I can't say enough good things about this place! Perfectly situated and beautifully decorated. The staff are all incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, the best we've ever tasted on Zanzibar. Coconuts Bandas is located right on the beach. The whole team is very friendly and works hard to make your stay special. The included breakfast is freshly prepared and delicious. The shared bathroom is clean and well maintained. There is a Kite school, a restaurant, and a lil Spa and boutique. Team is very helpful with organizing transport and activities like swimming with dolphins, BBQ on a small white sandbank, snorkeling, shopping tours. It is all these little things making a stay at Coconuts Bandas very special and priceless. Big value for money.

Offering a restaurant and bar, New Jambo Bungalows is located in Paje. An array of activities can be enjoyed in the surroundings, including fishing, diving and kite surfing.

I loved everything about this place and it exceded my expectations. Place was very chilled and not pretentious. I found bungalows practical and functional. Nature... plants and trees around the place and pool were super nice and taken care of. Pool was nice and big. I loved brealfast as well. Also we enoyed little porch in front of bungalow which was nice for hanging and drinking beer or wine in the night. I would for sure get back here.
