Hostels in Matemwe

I liked everything. However, the places I liked the most were the pool, volleyball court, and restaurant.

We came only for one night to Full Moon party, 24 hours available for check in and we were so fonder because AC and private bathroom awesome

very clean, cozy, little oasis close to the beach (5min walk). the owner is extremely kind and helpful, providing a very good service. price performance ratio is one of the best in Nungwi. the little pool invites to relax. the breakfast is great !

I had a great stay at Rafiki. Is quiet far from town but it was the best choice for me, to avoid touristic places. 10 mins walking from the hostel, you can fine the most beautiful and isolated beach. The hostel itself is was amazing. I was staying in a private room with private bathroom. Everything was clean and bed was comfy. Great to have a fan for hot days. Its similar to a bungalow so its normal to find geckos in room or flies. The staff was amazing and girls prepared a rich breakfast (included). Being far from town, you can call a driver or you can wait till 6/7 pm and go there with owner Rafiki (for free) and I think that is really a nice service to offer. Suggestion: for lunch, you can buy anything and put it in the fridge in kitchen

The Aquarium Beach House is located directly at on the more relaxed side of Nungwi beach. There are less beach vendors and our vacation to relax and enjoy could be met to 100%. The management and staff of the Aquarium Beach House made us feel like at home away from home. The restaurant / bar belonging to the beach house serves great sea food and rice dishes with local spices. We can highly recommend a stay here.
