Hostels in Matemwe

The hostel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The pool was clean and everything in my stay went smoothly. Met some lovely people and the vibes were 10/10! Would definitely come again.

Compass hostel was a real discovery for me! It's located just a two-minute walk from the beach. The hostel is new, very clean, and cozy. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast is delicious and the atmosphere in the hostel is set for relaxation and communication.

Very helpful and kind staff, from the managers to the security guard. The place has a peaceful atmosphere (which is not given in Nungwi). We had excellent breakfast every morning.

I had a great stay at Rafiki. Is quiet far from town but it was the best choice for me, to avoid touristic places. 10 mins walking from the hostel, you can fine the most beautiful and isolated beach. The hostel itself is was amazing. I was staying in a private room with private bathroom. Everything was clean and bed was comfy. Great to have a fan for hot days. Its similar to a bungalow so its normal to find geckos in room or flies. The staff was amazing and girls prepared a rich breakfast (included). Being far from town, you can call a driver or you can wait till 6/7 pm and go there with owner Rafiki (for free) and I think that is really a nice service to offer. Suggestion: for lunch, you can buy anything and put it in the fridge in kitchen

Great place to stay, manage by amazing manager. Room clean, nice restaurant with bar. Close to turtles sanctuary.
