Excellent staff. Spotlessly clean bathroom and showers. Good breakfast and espresso maker, but if you want cow's milk for coffee or cereal, you'll have to pick it up at the nearby 7-11. Excellent wifi. Two-bed dorm room was too small for a stool or anything but sleep, but hostel common area was great. Location excellent for daytime activities, though not very vibrant at night.

Stray Birds Taichung Hostel is set in Taichung. Popular points of interest nearby include Kuangsan SOGO Dept. Store and National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.
