Very good. I stayed on two occasions, once in the dorm and again in the tent. Both are great options. Maybe for me tent is best. A/C in room is fine, beds are comfy. Very nice hostel.

Owned by a exceptionally friendly lady, this place is a cool mix between a hostel and a homestay. There is a 8 bed dorm, where every bed is queen sized. The view from the room and the terrace is also great. The facilities were all rather new and maintained well. The overall cleanliness is great. The place is a bit outside of the main areas, so a motorbike is more or less required to get anywhere. But driving on this island is super chill and there are plenty of places to rent one. The place is especially nice if you like cats, there are so many :)

Location excellent, room basic but clean. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity and a short walk to Loh Pared Beach. It is not actually a hotel but called Boodsarin Apartments so no room cleaning during our stay, however, 2 bottles of water were given daily. There are about 8 - 10 rooms here and the staff from the Andaman clinic next door stay here too as some are working here from Malaysia. Everyone very friendly and it’s great value. From Klong Hia Pier (we travelled from Koh Lanta) it’s a set price of 600 baht to the area. We shared with a couple going to Santhiya Resort as it’s just around the corner.

I loved how attentive Marina and James- owners- are to their hosts . Even if the cafe is “closed’ they will make you fresh delicious meals happily/ they are both really good cooks. They will arrange everything for you like renting bike and scooters. It’s excellent value for money.

I only stayed one night but wish I stayed longer, it was beautiful and so peaceful. It’s very clean and more spacious than it looks in the pictures. The bed was very comfortable too. The owner is lovely and made me feel very welcome. I loved my stay here.

The perfect place to stay in Yao Yai - the villas are spacious, super clean and have the most amazing view over the sea. we rented a scooter directly from the hotel and explored the island, and the location was ideal for doing so! the owner and his family are incredible, nothing is too much trouble and they helped us organise boats etc. highly recommend!
