Jesús was a legend. Such a nice, friendly and genuine person. Honestly, it's a shame he wasn't around more (because as the owner, he's busy with many things) because every time he was around the whole place lit up. Great atmosphere and super good place to get to know people. 12/10

I loved my stay here. Closca Hostel is run by a lovely couple and is located in the local village, about 15 mins walk from the pier and the southern beach. It's quiet, super chilled and very clean. Everyone staying was lovely (age range was mid 20s to mid 30s, no drunken or disrespectful shenanigans thankfully), and I made really good friends. I'd love to come back.

Clean, cozy and super friendly staff. The beds are really comfortable with curtains for privacy. The hangout spot is share with cafe downstairs which is provided delicious breakfast and coffee. Location is great, near the main pier and quiet at night. Highly recommend for solo and group travelers alike!

I cannot say enough good things about this hostel. From the kind and caring and helpful owners to the facilities, 10 stars. The hostel was clean, modern and comfortable. The laundry downstairs is very convenient. You can also rent bikes directly from the hostel as well as tuk tuk transfers. Snorkeling equipment is free. This also is a quiet hostel, although social. NOT a party hostel, which I loved. I also loved the huge lockers in the room. I felt safe, secure and so supported in my stay! Great, quiet location while be close to everything.

This place is amazing. If you like being surrounded by nature than you should stay at The Lighthouse. The views are breathtaking, Curtis is great a host and the overall atmosphere at this accommodation is perfect. Keep going Curtis! The best feature of this hostel is the hospitality of the host. She is a very caring person, that makes you feel at home right from your arrival. Many people prolong their stay here. The other guests are also very nice. Perfect when you are looking for a social, but not loud party hostel. Matresses are also great :) value for money +++

Beds were comfy, the common area/restaurant is a great opportunity to meet people. The staff is international and very social and accommodating. The owner hosts weekly events like movie nights or bbq, even though it’s a social hostel it wasn’t loud at night. When i first arrived i was handed a towel and allowed to shower, even though I arrived way before my check-in. Daily cleaning of the dorms. Perfect hostel for backpackers or anyone who wants to meet new people!

The owners as so lovely and so helpful. Beds were comfortable and clean and private. Facilities were great. Free tea and coffee and a fridge. Lovely little balcony area and in a great location, close to everything. Everything about this hostel is perfect. Safe and secure too with key fobs to enter the room.

The best hostel I've stayed in Thailand. Insane views, comfy beds, plenty of space to socialise, meet new people or chill out / work if you need to! The staff and volunteers are super helpful and friendly.

Loved the rooftop and the cinema room! Great location and access to the beach! One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in! Great friendly and helpful staff! Definitely book to stay at this hostel you won’t be disappointed. The private rooms are also really nice too.

Savage is by far the best hostel I’ve stayed in in Thailand. The staff are incredible - always super friendly and helpful and I feel so safe here! The location is incredible and the facilities are unmatched!
