The owners and the staff are very kind, friendly and welcoming. I arrived as a guest and left as a friend. I extended my stay for two more nights. I would say it is one of the places where people really meet each other. The hostel is situated in a very quiet area. Most of the guests I've met during my stay practice sport, therefore they weren't noisy and went to bed early. The salads and artisanal icecream are excellent and pizza is ... real, properly pizza. Serving is impecable and fast. There is a grocery store and ATM nearby. Mojstrana is one of the best places for starting the ascent of Triglav Peak (three routes start from this valley), or for cycling in or around the Julian Alpes. Enjoy!

I love this place!!! Such a welcoming and warm place. It felt like a home! Well, it used to her grandma's home... Definitely not a "traditional hostel". It has a small capacity ; there are a couple of dorms and a couple of (double) rooms. Katja, the owner, is very friendly and gave me great recommendations for dining and sight-seeing. It's also a pet-friendly place. A couple of nights some guestrs had their dogs and Katja left dog treats for them on the breakfast table! Such a lovely gesture! Breakfast had several options. Fresh bread every morning! Katja also makes her own yogurt, which she serves for breakfast. They provide free towels (that's extra points for a hostel) and there are even shampoos and shower gels for guests. Very clean place, too!

Off the bat, the staff was really friendly and helpful. The location is great and a 3 min walk from the bus stop and a 5 minute walk from the lake. The facilities were great and cleaned daily. The bar downstairs makes for a fun hangout spot to interact with other travellers.

Great location, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Helena was a warm and friendly host who made us feel very welcome.

Loved the location for its proximity to the lake (beware, it’s a struggle to get back up the hill to the accommodation). Colleen is a very sweet and approachable hostess. Rooms and bathrooms are kept very clean. Mattresses are quite comfortable. Friendly atmosphere.

We had a great visit here! Nice beds and linnen. In the kitchen there was a gang playing guitar and singing while we played cards. Nice atmosphere!
