Really lovely staff. Beautiful building. Great location! Only a few minutes from the lake, the bus stop and a bunch of lovely restaurants/cafes. Few minutes hike up to castle bled for great sunset views. The common areas were so lovely, fridges and utilities were kept clean, rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Beds had charging ports and lockers in the rooms were big. I was solo travelling while doing some online work and it was perfect - good wifi, quiet rooms and common areas.

The space created transmits peace and harmony. It's really a beautiful project that exudes core principles of sharing, of love, and of simplicity. It's a delight to be there and would surely come back, wherever the next "Nomad's tent" sets. The atmosphere is fantastic, the garden is beautiful, there's a certain proximity to Bled, however visitors should plan for having a car, or planning a transportation to Bled as it's not that close. The eclectic but tasteful decor inside is really well thought, for anyone who's travalled and slept in a tent in the wilderness, the care to recreate that feeling is definitely there. The location is wonderful, just next to the main bus station, and it is so convenient for solo traveller to visit other attractions like Lake Bohinj. The room and common room is also very cozy.

My experience at the hostel was great. The owner and staff were really kind and helpful, helping out with things to do and visit in the region. Also the location is perfect, 1: you are at the station of Lesce which gives you good connection to a lot of different city’s in Slovenia and Austria. 2: Bled is really close to go visit, you could rent a bike or take a short bus ride to go visit. I like to be close to touristic places but not stay in too busy areas, that’s why it was perfect for me.

The location was absolutely beautiful I’ve never seen such stunning scenery. House mates were really nice and kept their space clean. The owner was really helpful and kind which made the stay that bit better

We had a great stay at Hostel Mama Minka and liked everything about it! It gave a very homey vibe, Katja showed us around when we checked in and was very friendly when we saw her at other times too, and it was nice to say hello to the other guests (and their dogs!). The breakfast was lovely and all guests sat around a big table in the dining area. Having a parking space was very convenient. We were able to do our laundry as well which saved us from driving out. We didn't notify of our arrival time in advance, so no one was around when we arrived, and we do not have a local phone number so were unable to call, but Katja was very responsive on Booking which made it very easy. Overall, would highly recommend a stay here if you are in the Bohinj area!

All staff and owner so friendly and helpful, with great advice about the local area and transport options too.Facilities were great. Shower no.2 is the best ever. Great food and hot drinks aplenty after long days of travel and hiking. Coming back next year.
