Good and clean rooms with an affordable price. You get your own room with a key and share the bathroom only with one person. Mario and his family are also very hospitable and helpful. Communication is not a problem as Mario speaks good English. Would definitely recommend. There’s also a supermarket and some restaurants within walking distance. You can also walk 10 minutes to the metro or bus station and easily get anywhere in Bucharest from there. The property also has a beautiful backyard where you can meet other people staying in the other rooms.

Monte Carlo Palace Rooms in Bucharest is located on the outskirts of the city, 200 metres from a bus stop and 6 km from the Old Town, where many restaurants, pubs and cafés can be found.

This hostel is just incredible! We've never experienced such a social environment, what a nice idea to have events mixing guests, the staff and local people. Super warm welcome by the staff (special thanks to the Romanian guy with the red jacket playing ukulele - don't know his name), looks like a big family! Diverse fun events organized every night to get people mixing but no noisy party. Communal areas are really nice, whether you want to chill out, play board games (they have an incredible number of every kind of games), work remotely... Moreover, the whole hostel is really clean as it is continuously cleaned.

Our host Anna was very nice person, kind and helpful. We didn’t stay long but, she managed to help us a lot. Always a pleasure to come back and stay in the same place. Also it is very close location to train station which is handy when you leave for a train you dont have to walk so much. It was also cheap and quiet location.
