Good and clean rooms with an affordable price. You get your own room with a key and share the bathroom only with one person. Mario and his family are also very hospitable and helpful. Communication is not a problem as Mario speaks good English. Would definitely recommend. There’s also a supermarket and some restaurants within walking distance. You can also walk 10 minutes to the metro or bus station and easily get anywhere in Bucharest from there. The property also has a beautiful backyard where you can meet other people staying in the other rooms.

Monte Carlo Palace Rooms in Bucharest is located on the outskirts of the city, 200 metres from a bus stop and 6 km from the Old Town, where many restaurants, pubs and cafés can be found.

Small but comfortable with nice staff. About a 20-30 minute walk from the old town but a decent option especially for solo travellers and has some good food and coffee options within a 5-minute walk. The staff was also super - very friendly even as I checked in in the middle of the night and helped me make popcorn for my little movie night!

Our host Anna was very nice person, kind and helpful. We didn’t stay long but, she managed to help us a lot. Always a pleasure to come back and stay in the same place. Also it is very close location to train station which is handy when you leave for a train you dont have to walk so much. It was also cheap and quiet location.
