I arrived very early in the morning. As expected, the room was not ready. But the person at the reception allowed me to sit in the common are and the restaurant. He also ensured that the room was cleaned on priority and allowed me to checkin before the standard 2 PM. I stayed in the hostel section (By the way, the hotel is called as Michelangelo - no idea why it is listed as 5 stars high hostel). The private room was clean and cosy. Overall, no issues. Very near to bus stop. The old city is about 10-15 minute walk. Airport bus stop is 5 minutes away.

The vibe of the hostel was very good. Chilled and relaxed with good energy on Sat night. Beds were very comfy and modern. Hostel overall was very very clean. Nedelea checked me in and was extremely helpful and friendly throughout my stay!

Good and clean rooms with an affordable price. You get your own room with a key and share the bathroom only with one person. Mario and his family are also very hospitable and helpful. Communication is not a problem as Mario speaks good English. Would definitely recommend. There’s also a supermarket and some restaurants within walking distance. You can also walk 10 minutes to the metro or bus station and easily get anywhere in Bucharest from there. The property also has a beautiful backyard where you can meet other people staying in the other rooms.

Absolutely super friendly host! I don't remember her name but she was great and had useful infos ready about the city and how to reach locations in and around the city. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Rooms are basic but with everything one needs plus lockers. Funny decoration in the yard - loved it! All in all a very nice place especially if you have to catch a train in the morning

I stayed at this location once before about a year ago and it has changed so much since then. The vibe is a lot nicer and the facilities have been updated. The wifi worked well and they have luggage storage before and after check-in. The location is really central and accessible to bus lines and the metro. It is right around the corner from the Old Town, so if night-life is your thing, it's really accessible to that also. I stay here every time I come to Bucharest and it is definitely worth it.
