The reception of me, when I arrived was so great and with a personal service. Basically always with a smile "away" and cheerful and that made it such a friendly environment which all of us guests joined in to. I've already booked one more stay, as soon as I got home!!

Pictures are accurate , house is very clean . quiet area . Is close to the city center , 5 minutes away there is a supermarket and a private parking 10 minutes away in case you rent a car. I recommended :)

Loved this place, very homely feel right in the heart of Funchal. The ladies who run the place were lovely and very helpful. Felt right at home as a 23 year old solo traveller. Definitely will return in the future.

Great location for airport and bus shuttle offered. I left at 4:45am for €4.99 via the host. Excellent service. Rooms are small but perfect for single stay

Absolutely wonderful experience with Mr. Costa! Not only is he incredibly friendly and genuinely cares about his guests, but he also goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free stay. When I had to return my rental car earlier than expected, Mr. Costa promptly returned the rental fees without any fuss. Moreover, he was a tremendous help in a challenging situation. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a trustful and caring host!

We loved the apartment. It was very cozy, tasteful, and perfectly equipped. There was everything we could need. We loved its location in a quiet north coast area. The sound of the ocean did not bother us at all, we liked it, we could sleep there very well. The owners were very attentive, a bottle of good wine, fruits, biscuits, a bottle of milk, cornflakes and other courtesies of the house were waiting for us. The restaurants they recommended were very good. My only surprise was an additional fee of 40€ for late check-in (at 23:00). Unfortunately, we could not manage to arrive sooner since the flight schedule.

The hostel is in a beautiful old building that is extremely well-maintained in the heart of the old town. Rooms are spacious with high ceilings. Fabulous kitchen. Both receptionists we met are very efficient, friendly and helpful and we’d like to give them our thanks for making our stay a pleasant experience. In order to have twin beds we chose to forego a private bathroom, but the communal facilities were so great it was not an inconvenience. Plenty powerful hot showers. The location is perfect with many attractions within walking distance.
