Off season is like paradise. Only 6 staying at the time so they gave us all bottom beds and only 2 people per room. Good size wardrobe for each bed. Breakfast is amazing if you are not many. Coffee, juice, water, bread, ham, cheese, tomato, different spreads and muesli, fruit, yoghurt and even baked brownies. It's amazing for the price you pay

All the friendliness of the staff, and the lots of quiet time for relaxation in the lounge area and also outside on the grass. Being on a walking distance so close to the Village of Campo do Gerês and having a Bus stop just outside the hostel is also great.

It is in a very convenient location to explore a good amount of the park some hikes can even start from the Hostel. The staff were extremely helpful. The restaurant was outstanding both for the breakfast and for dinner. The view down the valley is beautiful.

Probably the best hostel I've stayed in. It was on my cycle route and had awesome mountain views. Safe bike storage. Although there wasn't a kitchen, a kettle, microwave, cutlery and pottery were provided in the common room. Vending machines were on site, and bottled beer. I had a twin room booked , but as it was very quiet I should have gone for the cheaper bunk room option. Breakfast was continental, but plenty of it.
