What a beautiful clean and cozy space! I could not believe how nice the entire place was, from the kitchen to the patio to the lounge area. It was fantastic.

This might have been the best managed hostel I have ever stayed in. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, helpful, and welcoming. I could see them diligently peddle around the place to keep everything clean, shiny, and in a perfect shape. (They have secret doors to enter and leave rooms unobserved!) Everything was super clean and working all the time, from shiny bathrooms, to spotless linen, clean floors and tabletops. The common room is beautiful, with large wooden tables and floors, spacious and bright. Kitchen is well equipped and extremely well thought through, everything works and is in a good shape. Breakfast is a classical Portuguese staple self-service, while everything is carefully replenished all the time. Hostel is also very well located, a 5 minute walk to the bus station, and within the old town. (If You ever thought of what a well designed and tested code would look like, if it were a hostel, think no more.)

The room was lovely and the interior design very thoughtfully done. Refurbished with respect to this traditional architecture of Portugal. Some exhibit items from the past fit in very well with the simple yet thought through decor and cleanliness of the experience.
