Hostels in Cascais

David is an amazing host, friendly and quick to help with anything you need. We felt welcome at his hotel right from the start. The room was spacious and comfortable, exactly as the pictures. As a bonus, he also treated our dog really well.

The place is really nicely decorated, it is very cozy! It is located just in front of the bus stop that is direct to the Cabo da Roca, very convenient! The staff is very friendly!

We stayed in double room with shared bathroom, so the room was sweet and cosy, the bed was extremly confortable, bathroom was clean, common areas were fantastic, what can we expect more? Yeah the lovely kitchen, we used only for free coffees but I realised the last day they had a dishwasher machine! wonderfull, The lady in the front door Mariana was friendly and focused on guest satisfaction, she was replying to our questions patiently and advising solutions.. We wished to stay more there because this hostel made us feel like guest and not like customer and we definitely loved Cascais and Sintra which were better matching with our expectations than Lisbon :)

This place was truly awesome! At first, I booked just one night since I didn’t know I’ll like Cascais. But the town itself is really nice, absolutely everything is in proximity to this hostel. I booked another 8 nights and it was absolutely amazing! The ocean and the first beach is literally 70 meters from the door! I am a remote worker so their big open terrasse with the view on the ocean created wonderful conditions for work, so I can’t even imagine how good it should be when you are there for a vacation. + fully equipped kitchen ( stove, oven, toaster, microwave, fridge, kettle, etc) + the showers, common areas and rooms are very clean - the cleaner passes every single day. + air-conditioning in the rooms + a looooot of places to eat out in the evening nearby. All kinds - Traditional Portuguese cuisine, International restaurants, Portuguese tapas bars and like anything you can think of! + you can rent a bike in 200 meters from the hostel and see Guincho beach that’s just 12 km from the hostel, all along the ocean Also, the stuff of the hostel has a perfect sense of presence - they are there when you need them, but you really feel like independent traveller in full flexibility, it’s really nice. + one of the days hostel put an ad at the reception of a surf class and the final price for me was 10 EUR less because I came through them. Pleasant detail, isn’t it? Strong advantages: - proximity to everything in Cascais + only 600 meters to the train station and 40 mins by train (2 EUR) to get to the center of Lisbon - big open terrasse - a lot of restaurants + enormous Auchan in just 600 meters away if you want to cook - you feel a lot of personal space even though it’s a hostel I’ll surely come back with a big pleasure! Thank you!

The swimming pool, walking distance to the beach, friendly volunteer staff, a big fridge and kitchen space to cook, which was super clean for a hostel, the beds were also amazing for hostel standard.
