Amazing staff, especially Ricardo! Workers were very welcoming and created a great atmosphere, they packed a breakfast for me to take on the go as I was leaving early which was greatly appreciated. Lovely location and the rooms are very nice.

Dorms are clean with a balcony for drying wet beach wear. Staff are super friendly and helpful and the pool area is so idyllic. It's a short walk to the beach but there's plenty of places to park too if you have hired a car. I had an awesome stay, I would highly recommend

Very friendly check in. Extremely clean and quiet and comfortable. Lovely equipped kitchen. Enough parking outside the local Portuguese restaurant/cafe next door. Your own simple code to get in and out. Keys for the room, locker and shower. Comfortable mattress. Air conditioning in the room. Outside terrace area for drinks, smoking or talking to the parrot. Close enough for people with cars to return a rental to the airport in the morning, or to visit the beach which is a very long tourist beach with plenty of space. Check out the Prato do Dia at lunch time next door.

WaxHostel is located at Praia de Faro. The hostel features a sun terrace with views of the ria. You can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea on the terrace or patio.

First of all the view from the taras is breathtaking! Amazing! The hostel is very cozy, quiet and from one side is a beautiful view to the river and just behind the corner there is a beach to enjoy. The best option you can get when visiting Faro. The location is outside the city but to the get to the Faro you have many ways starting with boat and bus. Very clean, friendly Staff! When I will visit Faro again will defenetly stay there. Recomend to everyone!

Our request for a triple room was granted & we found it to be very spacious, well appointed, clean, nicely furnished & comfortable. Although bathroom facilities were supposed to be 'shared', there was one (of two) assigned to our room for our use. It didn't really matter, as we seemed to have the whole place to ourselves anyway! Communication from the property was good & the check in process was easy, being conducted remotely by phone. Any queries were answered quite quickly. The common areas were cleaned daily & the patio area (accessed via the small kitchen) was a pleasant space to sip a glass of wine at the end of the day. Lagoa is a charming town, with plenty of cafes & restaurants, as well as easy access by local bus to some of the sights of this part of the Algarve.
