Fabel Hostel somehow manages to feel social, relaxed, and genuinely caring all at once. They organise family dinners which make it incredibly easy to connect with other travellers, and the tours they run support local community businesses rather than generic mass tourism. You feel good staying here. The rooms are massive, air conditioned, clean, and genuinely comfortable, not just “hostel comfortable”. Scooters are available for hire which makes exploring the island effortless, and there is 24 hour security so you feel safe at all times. The owners and volunteers are an easy going, friendly bunch who clearly love what they do. There are also a few resident dogs who wander around offering cuddles, perfect if you are missing a bit of affection while travelling. I made some truly epic friends here, the kind you know you will stay in touch with long after you leave. What really sets this place apart though is the heart behind it. The owner went above and beyond for me at 4 am when I was unwell, and I will always be grateful for that kindness. That level of care is rare.thank you Ervin and team! If you are coming to Siquijor and not staying at Fabel, you are honestly doing it wrong.

Walkable to lots of restaurants and the beach. Has a spacious private beach area outside the room shared only with the other 4 guests. Coffee making facilities was a plus. Good WiFi (when there's no powercut). Great laundry service (best weve had on our trip)

I had a very good time there. All the staff were friendly and helpfull. The place itself is very beutufull and natural, plus u have a good kitchen where y can cook. Also all the place is very clean.

We’ve spent with my partner one month in Gold Star Inn, and we’ve been pleased with the place. Our hosts are really kind people, and we were appreciating their attitude. Always on top of our request, room service, facilities, etc. We both of us were really enjoying food in the restaurant, the host was making great dishes. 100% recommendations on this place.

Loved my stay here, within the trees and super friendly staff. Other backpackers also more laid back. Still at walkable distance to beach or close drive to waterfalls and other activities.

amazing location close to beaches and restaurants. we were able to rent a good scooter. love the style of the hostel. clean and comfortable rooms. wifi was very good. staff are lovely and very helpful. would definitely recommend and stay again!

Me and my partner had the best time here!!! Everything was 10/10, looked after by the most beautiful family. We sung karaoke, ate local food and they treated us like family!! Would recommend to anyone!!! Such beautiful people and such a unforgettable experience

It's located in a quiet and peaceful location but Oh! No way this is a hostel...it's like a resort, swimming pool with a slide! Bar with awesome cocktails great food and music, game nights & spacious rooms even in the sharing accommodation. Impressive but more importantly I loved "Blu"/ Kyle and Jollie here, Very friendly and funny...loads of fun activities planned & they sure make it super exciting! Will definitely want to visit Siquijor & stay here again!!! My favourite place & people in Philippines!
