Riu is special! It’s located close enough to the island hustle (I walked across the bridge in to Taglibaran easily) yet also away enough in its own peaceful area to feel like a retreat. It’s a great location to scooter/Tuk tuk down to Alona but also close to the Port and Bohol. The bungalows are spacious with a balcony and if you’re a backpacker like me, easy to catch up on your washing! I was in the shared bungalow with considerate people so it was relaxing and a great experience. The river is great for a cool down swim and the property is well landscaped with some loungers to relax. It is small and very personable for a great experience. The staff and owner are incredibly helpful and also have quality scooters on hand for renting at a great rate.

The receptionist was very kind and always available to answer my questions. The pool is clean with a green area around; the place is for relaxing. The beds are comfortable. I enjoy this place.

It’s a very good place to stay in Bohol. Very comfortable, good wifi, friendly and helpful people. Organizing a motorbike was very easy and normal price (450 PHP per day), also got some recommendations what to see in Bohol. Definitely recommended to have a stay here!

Everything was good, very friendly and helpful stuff, comfortable bed and big linen, good AC, strong wi-fi, close to the city center, quiet and relaxing place, free water in the hall. If you want to stay in the city then Safari Hostel is a good choice.

Clean, quiet, AC and internet worked well. Friendly staff. Good location for staying in Tagbilaran to do some errands. Close to ACE medical center and walking distance to restaurants on the water. Easy tricycle ride into main part of town or to bus stations.

Really beautiful place in the middle of nature. A lot of birds in the morning The staff is so nice and helpful, they were really great with us ! The rooms are cosy, clean and confortable, with hot shower, AC and fridge, with a little terrace in front. We had a great stay there, we recommend 200% !

I liked that it was more authentic than the usual hostels and the family were super lovely. The nicest place I stayed in the Philippines. A 60 peso bike gets you into the more touristy Alona, or you can rent a bike at the hostel
