I started my 4 week trip trough Oman in Basil Hostel. At first I planned to be in Muscat for a few days at the beginning and end of my trip. But since I fell in love with that place I returned every three to four days to Basil‘s Hostel and have been there a total of five times. It was a great place to meet other travellers and locals. I always felt welcomed and at home there. If I ever return to the great country of Oman, which I‘m pretty sure about, I will for sure be staying at Basil Hostel again and looking forward to reunite with all the good friends I made there. I loved this hostel, I spent there most of my time in Muscat, with beautiful people on the amazing rooftop. The rooftop has a shaded area and when it's too hot there there's also a comfortable common area. They also have a kitchen. The room was big enough and the bathroom was clean.
