The place is absolutely very clean, very quiet and new. The owners are special and always kind and helpful. Airport transfer organised by the hotel was perfect at a fair price. If we ever come back to Muscat we will definitely come back here!

The atmosphere at Legacy Hostel is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The staff is attentive and always ready to help with recommendations for local attractions and activities. Mr Zuheer (owner) was super friendly and great Normal grocery shops are too near less than 5 min walking , and a lot of great shops and restaurants near by like 15-20 min walk Additionally, the hostel is impeccably super super clean, and the facilities, including the kitchen and bathrooms, are well-maintained. all in all great hostel experience that you must have if you were in Muscat Oman !

I started my 4 week trip trough Oman in Basil Hostel. At first I planned to be in Muscat for a few days at the beginning and end of my trip. But since I fell in love with that place I returned every three to four days to Basil‘s Hostel and have been there a total of five times. It was a great place to meet other travellers and locals. I always felt welcomed and at home there. If I ever return to the great country of Oman, which I‘m pretty sure about, I will for sure be staying at Basil Hostel again and looking forward to reunite with all the good friends I made there. Cheers guys!

The hostel owner Kaab went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel right at home. The sunset barbecue were fantastic, offering a perfect blend of welcoming, integration, adventure and relaxation. A huge thank you to Kaab for creating such a welcoming and enjoyable experience!

This place is super clean, very quiet and the room though simple had everything I needed. I was impressed at the way that Host had thought about so many details including a drying rack, iron and board plenty of electrical and USB outlets and a very decent size bedroom and big bathroom. Also very good airport pick up service-much cheaper than the taxi.
