Very spacious room with attached bathroom and cosy blankets. The house is large with a small kitchen and lounge sitting area. Host was very friendly and helpful and even took us out on the night we arrived! Location is more residential than Thamel (yet still only half an hour walk away) which was great for cheaper food and a calmer time

The staff was very kind, especially Pramod was very helpful with suggestions what to do in the area and assisted me with general things like laundry, SIM card, etc. Being a mountaineer himself, he knows all about trekking in Nepal. The privacy in the dorms are also very enjoyable with convenient lockers provided. The common area serves food all day, and the WiFi is good for working there. Convenient location in the heart of Thamel, yet the building itself feels very peaceful. Great for backpackers.

the location of the hotel is perfect, in the heart of Thamel, but on the quieter street. with the hotel being setback a bit from the main street where there are many gift stores, fabric stores, etc. a good mix of businesses catering to tourists and the locals as well. the staff, especially Saroj was most helpful!
