IndiaLovely hostel in the centre. Comfy beds. Proximity to great coffee and a good cafe just across the road. Good base if you are going for hikes to places such as Reserva Miraflor etc. really clean bedsheets. Impressive.

Cool place for backpackers in Esteli. The hostel is cute and dorms and bathrooms are clean. Part of the hostel is the treehuggers travel agency through which you can book tours to Somoto Canyon, Miraflor and more. The staff is incredibly helpful and goes out of their way to help you.

Good hostel with a good kitchen. Location is close to the Central Park with bars and restaurants round. However it is a 20 min walk to terminal north and 30 min walk to terminal south (both are 10 mins from each other). They have a fantastic travel agency and the staff have excellent information. Canyon de Somoto is an awesome adventure! The cigar tour is really I te resting too. Sometimes it is hard to find someone who works there, but if you just go across the street to the restaurant, someone can help you. Very quiet hostel.
