The owners have created a paradise in Balgue. Loved every bit of it and I think they are travellers themselves because some details were already arranged in the rooms and the facilities. This place is spectacular on every aspects. The installations are gorgeous, the people are the kindest, and I’ve met one the most interesting persons during my stay. It’s the first time I go back to the same hostel in my life, and clearly not the last.

The uniqueness of the hostel is unreal. The authenticity and the little bit of magic that is here makes this place an amazing stay! By far coolest hostel. Having a nice big kitchen and fire pit makes it feel like home. The animals and the fruit trees. The stories about each of the caravans. If your looking for a vibe this is it!

Beautiful hostel, friendly and helpfull staff, all well organized, clean rooms, comfy bed, high speed internet and fantastic food. Bar with biggest selection of beers I saw in Nicaragua. What more could one want?

It’s a bit aside from the port city Moyogalpa, so it’s very calm and almost no cars and people here, but still easy to reach by foot from the Centre (15 min walk). It has breakfast included and it’s home cooked food by the family. My room was very spacious, with 1 double and 1 single bed. They had outlets outside and inside, so i could work online here. Ask for both WiFi passwords! The host family was very nice and always tried to help, like when I needed a dentist they found a number. They don’t speak English (as most locals here) but with my broken Spanish and google translate we always understood each other. You can also ask them about the laundry option. Thanks for hosting me!
