La Punta's prime location is arguably best experienced at Frutas y Verduras. We spent just over two weeks exploring every corner of this house, one of the first in the area. Despite the lively atmosphere of La Punta, Frutas y Verduras offers a peaceful retreat. The service was exceptional, thanks to the very kind and helpful staff. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The property boasts several relaxing spaces, from the swimming pool to the main terrace. Our favorite spot was the 'eagle nest' atop the building, offering a spectacular view of the beach and surf lineup. Breakfast was also a highlight, featuring a delightful selection of toasts, waffles, crepes, and more. We truly felt at home, and a heartfelt thanks goes out to the entire team.

The staff at the hostel were amazing, Bruno’s salsa classes were the best, Tavo was the life of the party, Anita was the best bartender and there were many more names I could mention that did an amazing job at making this stay unforgettable. Every staff member did an amazing job.

Everything was great. The staff were very helpful. The hostel has a WhatsApp group and you get all activities and if you are a solo traveler, it's a good way to meet people. The pool was very nice to relax in. 10 minutes walk to the beach where you can swim, 4 minutes walk to Colectivo to go other places. Would definitely come back there.

People were friendly as expected in a Hostel.. Location was interesting and the steps down to Beach trying,...( Two bad hips supposedly in need of replacement )

The kitchen is huge with everything you need. The garden is lovely and there is lots of shower and bathroom facilities. The lady, Grecia, who runs the hostel is super helpful and friendly. The beds are comfy and the AC is good, also there are lockers and locks provided. It is quiet after 11pm which is good

Casa Lumaya is set in Brisas de Zicatela. The property is non-smoking and is located 400 metres from Zicatela Beach. At the hostel, every room has a desk.

The lady who looked after the property was extremely helpful and lovely - she also made the best breakfast each morning, which was a great added extra. I think for the price it was great value for money within close walking distance to the shops and the beach.
