Abdul, the owner, made me feel extremely welcome and we had some interesting chats. The location is great, a lot of love has been put to the rooms and one of the highlights is definitely the terrace, where one can chill away the day. Thank you Abdul, I hope I’ll make it back to Essaouira and to Dar Afram!

This hostel has the most amazing staff I have ever met in my life! I can just say a HUGE THANKS for all the people working there, because during my 2 weeks of staying, they treated me so good. I felt like they are all my big brothers taking care of me. I have never seen before a staff so friendly, talkative and involved of the travelers everyday life. Any kind of issue I faced in Essaouira, they were there to help me (even came with me to buy vegetables in the market, to show me how things are going among locals, or we could just eat together to not to feel alone in my lonely moments). Best atmosphere ever! I was a bit crying when I left Essouira :/ If something didn't work in the building (like the electrical socket next to my bed when I arrived) I just told them, and they came right away to fix it. They are fast and really willing to help you. Also if you are looking for a place, where the community life is very good, this is the right place to stay, they have musical instruments, a nice hall, and a rooftop to talk and make friends or find travel buddies. Love you guys! Hope to see you soon!

This surf house is SPECIAL: fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean, very nice and helpful staff, delicious dinner (to be booked in advance at the morning) and super breakfast full of typical moroccan products. The room was big and super comfortable, with a magnificent terrace in a wonderful and peaceful place. The surf house is on the top of a small hill with the ocean view and 5 mins by car far away from the beach of Sidi Kaouki and 20/25 mins drive from Essaouira.

The staff was ao nice to me and my friend. We discussed, we laughed and we were very much well taken care of. My room was super clean with a private bathroom (shower and wc), sheets were neat, i had enough not to feel cold and i had my little window. I also had acces to a kitchen where i could cook and enjoy the terrasse during the lovely nights of Essaouira. Strongly recommend!

Really nice spacious private room. Short walk to the beach. Amazing terrace and chilling area with swimming pool. I ordered dinner and breakfast which were delicious. Everybody is super friendly including staff and other guests as well. Recommended!
