We had an amazing stay! What made the experience truly special was the staff – absolutely outstanding! Every single person, from the security guard to the manager, was kind, welcoming, and always smiling. Such wonderful people who made us feel right at home. We also appreciated how the place takes care of its guests, including spraying for mosquitoes to make the stay more comfortable. The shared area by the pool, along with the kitchen and dining tables, is well-maintained, high-quality, and has a great vibe. The nearby train and the restaurant kitchen’s proximity were a bit of a downside, but there are so many positive aspects that we’re mentioning it only as a side note, without affecting the excellent rating this place deserves. And finally – Layan is truly a special person, and he is now like family to us! ❤️ Highly recommended!

I had such a great stay at 234 Weligama. The place is right on the beach, super clean, and really comfortable. The staff were all so friendly and helpful — especially Anura, who made me feel very welcome. The food was amazing too, with authentic Sri Lankan dishes that were full of flavor. Perfect spot to relax, enjoy the beach, and experience real local hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again!

We just stay one night in this hotel, but it was very clean n confortable. The owner and staff are very kind and honest people. The balcony is very Nice and in the morning it was amazing for us to see all the monkeys n birds sound in the trees :) very simple cozy hotel, we had separate room, we spend a good night there, it was very quiet, the price is cheap and we will go again if we go back to weligama

Great friendly place who kindly let us check in early and stay in the room the next day until our train, which was much appreciated. Clean room, good hot shower, good air conditioning, quiet location but just 5 minutes from the beach and close to several nice eateries. Fridge and kitchen area available. Lovely relaxed and welcoming vibe.
