A beautifully designed, modern accommodation with a different style. Everything is brand new and clean. Our Special highlight was the incredibly comfortable bed - something seasoned travelers know is a rare find! Absolutely perfectly located, right in the heart of a lively area. The hosts are exceptionally kind and welcoming, and very helpful to assist. We could only stay for one night, but this is the kind of place where you'd want to stay longer. We will definitely return. Highly recommended!

I loved everything. feeling like home super cozy and calm place near by jungle beach. Good working A/C, everything is really clean. balcony and the rooftop are so nice big space to relaxing n yoga and the staff is friendly. it's also close to the Weligama Bay Dive Center and all of this for a really really reasonable price. Highly recommend

Everything, fantastic hostel. Good WiFi and yoga/ work out space. Good prices for food and drink. The owners are genuine and lovely people. They are so helpful! A week after I left the hostel messaged to ask a question about VISAs and they were super helpful even though I was no longer staying there. I will defo go back here again!

Perfect location - just 3 min walk to the main surf spot and many restaurants/cafes around - Clean and comfy rooms, nice common area, fridge and kitchen if you wanna cook. Great wifi as well and very friendly staff!! Came for 5 days, ended up staying 10 🤟🏼

Best hostel I’ve been too. Ishan and his father are really kind and help with everything and the place it’s really family style, everyone hangs out together and have fun. I was supposed to stay 3 nights but I ended up staying for 10 days. Love it

Justin is the epitome of extroversy, casually connecting all guests to each other and making everyone feel at home. Well done! The vibes are very social, but even the super busy boozy open mic night ended at 23:00, so a good sleep is facilitated too. The tent was very nice (and huge!) and I liked the open air shower a lot.

Wake Up Hostel was my favourite Hostel in Sri Lanka so far. The social vibe is great and you can easily get to know new people. There is social activities every day, the location is 5 minutes from the beach and it's a bit off of the main road so you don't here the traffic. In addition the Host is super cool and takes part in most hostel activities. The dorm room was spacy, clean and there was a wooden Box to store your important stuff. If you want to to experience something you should definitely go here.

this is the best hostel I have visited. good location, close to the beach, cafe, shop. clean, friendly staff. The best guys worked at the reception. they created a really cool atmosphere and came up with various events.

A great hostel with a great location. Not far from the bus station or beach. There always some activity and a WhatsApp group to make it easier. Common area is really nice and easy to meet people. Nice with a kitchen as well!
