I stayed at go yala hostel for two nights - a beautiful hostel in front of a lake in the middle of the jungle. The place is calm and just surrounded by nature. I was warmly welcomed with a fresh coconut. Shortly after I arrived I left for night safari - an awesome experience to see wild elephants at night time! After a few hours of sleep i left for safari at 5 o’clock in the morning. Besides many elephants and buffalos we were also really lucky to find a leopard! Thanks to our awesome guide again! During our stay we really enjoyed the tour through garden and were stunned by everything growing and living there. Your only neighbors will be cows and a lot of chicken and birds. I also loved the food prepared for us. I can really recommend this place if you are looking for a very good safari experience and a calm and beautiful place to stay. Thanks for this awesome time Go Yala Hostel! I enjoyed it soo much!

Beautiful place in heaven. Beautiful people and animals. This place is wild and so peaceful. We obviously stayed longer than what we had planned. We just came to do the safari (which we didn't enjoy so much) but the Yala Yang Hostel is the reason why we stayed longer. Would love to come back, I truly recommend it !

I had an absolutely delightful stay at Hamba Hostel for Safari! The room was impeccably clean and provided a serene and calming atmosphere that was just what I needed for a relaxing getaway. The proximity to the beach was a huge plus, allowing me to enjoy the soothing sound of the waves throughout my stay. The staff members were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a warm smile. One of the highlights of my trip was the Yala safari organized by the hotel. The experience was truly unforgettable, and the convenience of having it arranged by the hostel made the adventure even more enjoyable. Additionally, the food offered at the hostel was beyond delicious, satisfying my taste buds with a variety of delectable dishes. Overall, I can't speak highly enough of Hamba Hostel for Safari. It's the perfect blend of comfort, tranquility, beachside charm, attentive staff, exciting safari opportunities, and mouthwatering cuisine. My stay was an absolute delight, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable experience!

Can not recommend this place enough! Feels more like a home than a hostel, huge dorm rooms, immaculately clean and smells lovely as you walk in. The owner, Pradeep, was really friendly, humble and caring. He arranged my group safari tour of Yala for a very reasonable price and made us all coffee in the morning before we left for it and breakfast at the park. Very informative and taught me various different things about Sri Lanka. The best shower and sleep I’ve had the entire time I’ve been in the country. Above and beyond on looking after me during my stay would be an understatement. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and for your kindness!
