We had an incredible stay at Kottamba Villa in Tangalle! From start to finish, our host Lushan went above and beyond to make our visit perfect. Super nice place right on the beach. you can sleep listening to the sound of the ocean, priceless. very friendly service and very tasty food. Rooms are comfortable and the mosquito net deeply appreciated.

The host and location were fantastic, situated right by the entrance to Medaketiya Beach with safe swimming area and close to the stunning Mangrove Beach and national parks. The service was unexpectedly excellent, and the breakfast offered a variety of delicious options for the price. Best lassi in this area.

Amazing home and family. We so much enjoy that we had book another night. Everything is clean. Our room was really good and comfortable. The share bathroom is perfect, really clean and easy to use with all the supplies. They provide food also and let me say that we had the best kottu ever of our 1 month trip in Sri Lanka. The breakfast are amazing too.

I stayed here last night and had a great experience! It’s a newly opened hostel with a really nice atmosphere. The host is super friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect — just a short walk to the beach. The kitchen and lobby areas are beautiful and free to use if you want to make your own meals. Definitely great value for money! Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Hiriketiya.

If you want to feel Sinhala's hospitality try Muru's place. You will be amazed by it. Such a kind and generous family who are always welcoming you with a big smile.
