I was in Colombo before and went to Negombo because its a nice place very near the airport. There were certain options to go to, curlys hostel was one of the cheapest in my case. I booked for 3 days and stayed at least 11 days because the room was perfect with a very comfortable bed (I was the only visitor for 8 days) and AC in a cozy house with everything I needed. Curly is a superb host, also the employeed house maker called aunty, the hostel got cleaned every day and the food was delicious. Drank also 'Old Arrack' from Rockland with ice there, can very recommend that spirit

The place is amazing! My room is right by the sea, and I can hear the waves every moment. The room is clean and tidy, and there’s a kitchen. Outside, there are shops nearby where you can buy food to cook in the kitchen, and bikes are available to ride for free. At the back, there’s a space where guests can hang out and relax. Most importantly, it’s very easy to meet new friends here. The host is very responsible and kind, and especially the host’s father—he helped me with kitchen tasks and even took photos for me! It’s truly a perfect place to relax.

I really enjoyed it. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the bed was very comfortable, the shower had hot water, there were parties every night with the locals and I even had access to the swimming pool at the hotel next door (which also belongs to the hostel). I highly recommend it! 10/10

I stayed here just before taking my plane, it is very well located on the beach and lots of places to eat and bye last souvenirs around. The place is nice, there was a fan per bed which is nice. I would recommend staying here.

The location is very convenient. It is less than 1 km to the train station, beach, grocery store and several restaurants on the beach and main road. The hostel room is very clean and spacious. The owner is one of the nicest people I have met. If you need any help, do not hesitate to ask him. Perfect place to stay if you have just arrived from the airport or are just waiting around for your flight outside of Sri Lanka.
