Amazing hostel! One of the best run hostels I've stayed in. It's incredibly clean, especially bathrooms. Is very comfortable with great facilities (pool, rooftop and chill space). Everything feels new and is in great condition. Awesome vibe because of managers Jesse + Mies who are amazing people - so kind and friendly. They are on it straight away if you need help or anything fixing. Volunteers run the social activities both daytime and night so easy to meet people but can just chill on your own easily. The staff are lovely and make super tasty food and drinks - banging cocktails. The co-working space is air conned and good desk space. Also really appreciated the kettle and fridge in the small kitchen space behind the building as I like to make my own breakfast and tea. I am hoping to return for another stay because it is one of the best places in Sri Lanka!

The place is brand new and ideally located close to the beach and to every to everything you might need. It’s kind a home away from home with special attention to details like the cosy spaces to meet other travellers, daily meet ups organised to connect everyone, a wonderful team always ready to help with anything and beautiful rooms to recharge your battery (you can also give the ice bath a try for this).

Super cosy little hotel with private rooms. Kitchen area was handy for making coffee and teas and even cooking dinner. Facilities were clean. Location was perfect as it was about a 3 minute walk to the coast or a 3 minute scooter to the surf. Pathum and Sineth were amazing host and can help you out with anything and everything in the area. Pathum also provides airport pickup, comfortable transportation in a car with A/C or in his tuk tuk, and can also help with well priced scooter rentals. It was helpful having a local be so eager to show us around and help us find the best of spots. Can’t recommend this place enough and we can’t wait to come back!

JJ's is one of the best hostels I have stayed at. It has the perfect balance between social vibes and comfort. J has created a great space for interaction at the same time as emphasizing on comfort for backpackers who need a space to ground for a bit and have all the facilities of a home away from home. You know the details you always think about having if you ever started your own hostel? To me so many of them were there. The curtains for the bed, the tiny shelf by the bed, reading lamp, racks in the room to hang up clothes and wet towels. And cats. I love the cats.

The hotel was amazing. The jungle vibes were awesome and it felt really private. We enjoyed the outdoor bath a lot. The Petti Petti restaurant had a lovely pool just couple of steps away with beach access. Also some good restaurants were near the hotel. Lovely stay.

My experience here was amazing from start to finish due to the kindness and hospitality of all who work there as well as a very clean and comfortable hostel! Great location on the main street of Mirissa. Thanks so much to Isu and Harsha for making the stay so memorable and a big shout out to Chandni the greatest volunteer ever!
