This place is magical! Beautiful garden and pool, such a good spot to chill. They have an amazing rooftop with really nice food, definitely recommend to try their sushi. Best beds we’ve had in Sri Lanka, super comfy!! And only a few minutes walking from Madiha surfpoint. There’s so much going on in the area, they will update you with all the events and best spots to eat, drink and visit. If you’re looking for paradise, this is it!

JJ's is one of the best hostels I have stayed at. It has the perfect balance between social vibes and comfort. J has created a great space for interaction at the same time as emphasizing on comfort for backpackers who need a space to ground for a bit and have all the facilities of a home away from home. You know the details you always think about having if you ever started your own hostel? To me so many of them were there. The curtains for the bed, the tiny shelf by the bed, reading lamp, racks in the room to hang up clothes and wet towels. And cats. I love the cats.

The family room in Banana bunks was great for our family. But it is not really the room that was important- it was the use of the fabulous Petti Petti Beach Club.This great beach club is right on the beach (whereas the accommodation is across a main road, a minute’s walk away) and owned by the same people, so you get a discount on the food which is delicious and great value. We made the most of having breakfast, lunch and dinner here and all meals were great, along with lounging around the pool and hiring surfboards from the beach. The staff were very friendly too, so all in all a great place to stay in Mirissa.

This place is amazing. I was here three weeks ago and decided to come back. No hostel is like this. The staff is amazing and friendly, the people is marvellous and social. It is totally understandable that people have stayed here for so long. Cute dog, but a bit hectic sometimes. Perfect placement, just a sec from the beach. Lovely volunteer, especially that extra guy, think his name is Alex.

This is single 8 bed dorm joined to a beautiful cafe. The dorm beds are cleaned everyday and are super modern and comfortable. Wished I could’ve stayed longer - maybe best value for money in Hiriketiya. The staff are also so welcoming and accomodating.
