We had such a nice stay at this hostel. The room was clean and comfy. Location was so beautlyful, directly at the lake and outside of the town. Staff was really friendly! We also rent a kayak and bike for free. Highly recommended <3

Our stay at White House was absolutely amazing, the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka by a mile. The room was spotless, incredibly spacious, and comfortable. We spent five days here and genuinely didn’t want to leave. The highlight of our stay was the host, who treated us like a family and made us feel so welcome. Fantastic place,right on the beach. All the food we ordered was delicious. Guys are super polite and helpful. Some backpack places can be rather shabby,this one is not. Definately recomending this place especially for those who prefer touch with local people opposite to crowded hotel resorts.

Excellent location next to bus and train stations. Staff were very nice, very friendly, chatty and helpful. Room was brand new; very clean and comfortable. Bar serves great meals.
