Really enjoyed my stay here! The bed was super comfy and I slept so well. The whole place is so peaceful, surrounded by forest, which made it feel really relaxing. Staff were all super nice and helpful too. Perfect spot if you just want to chill and recharge ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I like everything here. Best hostel. Their food is amazing. Tikka is really cool cook. Their lake tour and sunset hike is very good and we had so much fun together. Maliya is our best guide. He gave us lot of informations. I miss you guys. But I come back for sure.

The owner is fantastic! They are such a considerate family that run the hostel. They were so helpful with everything. They helped with our bags after checking in late, gave us juice on arrival, and arranged transport to the rock for an early morning hike. Great generous breakfast that left us full and happy. We were able to keep our bags there until our transport picked us up too. Amazing location, walking distance to the rock, great food options around for lunch and dinner. The nature surrounding was so peaceful too. The facilities were great! Amazing shower and comfy beds with mosquito nets. The best stay! I wish we could've stayed longer it was perfect! 🥰

If you're looking for an authentic Sri lankan experience and wanna be treated more as a friend rather than a guest, choose Jungle Host Hostel. Chooti and Diva - the hosts, took good care of me and showed me some secret places around. We had so much fun spotting elephants at night, watching plenty of sunsets and sunrises. I think I also learned a lot about the Sinhala culture cause it was a bit like a Couchsurfing experience. I met some great travellers in the hostel! It was definitely my best stay in Sri Lanka and I'm grateful for that. The rooms are also very nice and clean.

I spent 2 nights at Elegant elephant and i really enjoyed the place. It's quite, surrounded by nature and the view of the rock from the room is really nice in the morning. The whole place is clean and well maintained. Beds in the room are really comfortable, one of the most comfortable beds in Sri Lanka for me. Owners are also very friendly people, willing to make your stay as good as possible. The food they made for me was absolutely delicious and in big portions. Also, I appreciated the place has WiFi. I recommend this place !

This place was just awesome! Clean bedroom and bathroom, peaceful and quiet surrounded by nature, cute dogs who are well-treated, yummy breakfast. Hammock was a big win. As a solo female traveller, Diwa made me feel safe and welcome, and helped me to plan my itinerary. He also took me on a tour which was very informative. Highly recommend.
