The house is in a beautiful and calm neighborhood near Blue Beach and Hiriketya beach. And a shop is nearby. I highly recommend Muru's place.

Amazing spot for backpackers. A minute walk from the beach but out on its own in the quiet. Facilities are brand new and clean. Nice outdoor area and the room setup manages to give you a bit of privacy. Also the place is cheap as chips. Above all amazing staff who looked out for us for our entire stay.

The hostel seems to be quite new and located in the main street to Hiriketiya Bay. I sayed here with my friend for two nights and the experience was positive. The manager, Sameera, and his assistant were really friendly and welcoming. They were always going above and beyond to make sure that all our demands were met. The breakfast was very local and delicious. The restaurant operated throughout the day until dinner time, and it was responsibly priced while making it one of the best places to try out some local cousins in Hiriketiya. The wifi worked well on the ground floor where we stayed, which helped me to do some work while staying there.. The beds in the dorm room were very comfortable and modern, and each had our own towel. All the beds had bed lamps as well as fans. Also, the hostel offers us free lockers to keep our valuables with was great. We had a shared washroom, and it was clean while there were a few more other washrooms in the property. The location is about 5 mins away from the beach as well as towards the main road, which I found to be a good advantage. Recommend for both budget travellers and food lovers! Thank you, team. The man and the woman running the place were super nice and friendly and helped with everything. Told us what bus to take to the next stop when Google Maps was showing us a shitty route. They gave us all the facilities needed to make our own breakfast. We rented a scooter from their neighbour and they also sell cold water at the hostel for 150Lkr. They have 2 cats and one dog around the property and also monkeys in the tree right above the roof. They had mosquitonets and good fans for the room so everything was nice.

All! The location, the place is very clean, the staff is super friendly and always willing to help. I was in hour different hostels in Hiriketiya and this is by far the best one.

This is my second time at Pranaya, and theres a reason why I stay here everytime I come to Hiriketiya. You get the most amazing hosts/owners in Dee and her boyfriend. Anything you need, they will provide (from drinking cups to transportation). Not only are the beds comfy and spacious but you also get a cupboard where you can put your massive suitcase and other bags in. The bathroom is amazing too! The garden outisde gives you amazing privacy where you can have a drink with your mates and all the party places are walking distance from the hostel.
