I really enjoyed my stay. The owner and the staff are very nice and helpful. The owner organizes trips to the surrounding sights at fair prices. The food is delicious. There are very good storage and locking options for valuables and backpacks in the room. You can also use the pool from the hotel.

I arrived at this hostel to spend one night and ended up 4 and leaving was completely heartbroken 🥹❤️‍🩹It is a family hostel where I felt like one of the family, I am very very happy and grateful to have been lucky enough to find such a ✨special ✨place to which I will definitely return and of course recommend, because thanks to the hosts my experience in Sigiriya was spectacular🌄. The spacious accommodations were a breath of fresh air, and the complimentary breakfast and dinner buffet were a delightful bonus. Honestly, the value for money here is unbeatable! On our first day, we ventured out to Pidurangala to catch the sunset, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The next day, we explored the stunning Sigiriya rock fortress, which was a highlight of our trip. In the evening, we enjoyed a charming bullock cart village safari that gave us a taste of local life. The third day was just as memorable, with a well-organized safari to Minneriya National Park to watch the elephants. It was such a relaxing day, surrounded by nature and wildlife. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which was a bit slow at times, but honestly, it was nice to disconnect and enjoy the experience fully. Overall, I had an amazing stay and will definitely be coming back! If you're looking for a great place to stay with wonderful activities, this hostel is the perfect choice

We stayed here as a group of friends and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The host was incredible – he ordered and organised things for us, gave us loads of tips about the local area, and even went above and beyond when my friend left her bag at a bus stop. He actually tracked it down and drove it back to us! His whole family were so kind and welcoming, which made us feel completely at home. Breakfast was amazing every morning, and the beds were huge double bunks, super comfy after a long day exploring. Honestly, the host and his family made the trip for us – such a special place to stay

Just about the closest you can stay to the Sigiriya lion rock (you should get there at 5am to beat the crowds and an amazing sunrise). The owner gave me awesome personalized recommendations. Lined up a safari where I saw maybe 30 wild elephants. So many babies. Looks newly remodeled and very clean. Perfectly clean sheets and towels. Attention to detail. Large nice bathroom. Good local in house breakfast. Very relaxed town, close to easily walkable restaurants. I suggest the train here from Colombo 4$ second class. A perfect stay thanks to the super knowledgeable local host. Thank you
