Sojeong was a wonderful host and super helpful. She was really sweet and I wish I got more time to speak with her. The hostel was very clean and nicely located. I really enjoyed my stay in Gyeongju and was grateful for such a homey-feeling hostel. The staff went above and beyond.

What an excellent visit! Booking a double room to myself was an excellent choice for value and comfort. The staff are what makes it special though: the confident, welcoming people who run the hostel and the bar next door, perfect for solo travellers looking to fit in. Special thanks to Clara, so cool to meet a fellow Dane so far out and so helpful throughout my stay :D

There is no lift so the staff at check in helped me to carry my one very big luggage up to 3F where my room is. Checking out I managed on my own as coming down with luggage is much easier. WiFi for each room, no password and strong connection. The bathroom is situated near to the entrance of the room and then there is another door to enter the bedroom. All toiletries were provided like shampoo, conditioner, shower foam, facial wash (disposable packets) and toothbrush, toothpaste, towel. If you need more, you can help yourself at the check in counter, they display all these items there, you do not have to ask for it. All over Korea I stayed, the towel provided is about the size of the hand towel but it is thicker so one of those towel is definitely sufficient for me, an Asian female. Netflix was really captivating and I spent some time watching some good Korean movies only found in Korean Netflix. The room was so comfortable and cosy I was happy to stay in. At the side of the bed there is a side table with 2 chairs, easy for you to eat your take out there. I adjusted the position of one of those chair to make room to keep my very large luggage open. If you have 2 luggage, perhaps one of those have to remain close, depends on how you organise the space. Note: very nice Korean fried chicken from the entrance turn right and go straight down, they close around 8pm. Not sure the name as it was in Korean. Breakfast was simple with toast, butter, jam, orange juice, coffee, tea. If you need anything else, please get it at the convenience store. For the price around SGD46 per night, I think it is fitting that the breakfast is basic. Eggs are very expensive at the supermarket - I checked, as I wanted to make some scrambled eggs at another apartment I stayed at. Location is wonderful, around 10 mins easy walk to Bus Terminal, 3-4 mins from hotel you find the bus 10/11 that goes to Bulguksa Temple.
