Jalil and Aizada are amazing hosts and super helpful. The facilities are very good and clean including a nice communal area. Jalil provides a lot of helpful information how you can do day hikes by yourself. I had an amazing time at the Snow Leopard Hostel and can highly recommend it!

This is a small hostel so it is very easy to make friends. We met many nice travellers and had an amazing time. The hostel is clean, the room is very confortable and Wi-Fi is fast! The location is also very good: very close to most of the main spots in Karakol and a good supermarket (globus). Very kind staff! The kitchen was always very clean and organised.

If you are in Karakol, go to this hostel - it is absolutely recommended! From the first moment the host welcomed us in her very friendly way. She spoke very good English and was always ready to answer our questions. She helped us plan the multi-day hike, assisted us with laundry, recommended a local festival (which was awesome) and helped all the guests organize their trips. The hostel itself was also great - always absolutely clean, a large kitchen that invites you to stay and eat with the other guests, and comfortable beds. Finally, the location is great. There is a great park just around the corner, a rental store for hiking equipment (tent, sleeping bag, etc.), various restaurants and stores and an excellent bubble tea store nearby. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much, which is certainly due to the loving and caring nature of the host.

Interhouse Karakol offers accommodation in Karakol. The hostel has a terrace and views of the garden, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant.

It was an absolutely perfect hostel once I got checked in. The facilities were great and the beds felt good. I appreciated all the help from the staff and their recommendations. Staying here gives you a 10% discount on a very very nice local Kyrgyz restaurant Dastorkon as well, and there's cherries in the yard that are perfectly soursweet for you to pick and eat. There's laundry facilities as well, and even place to keep your stuff safe while you go trek Ala Kul.

The yurts were beautiful and very cozy, with comfortable beds. The owner was incredibly helpful and made us feel very welcome. There’s a wonderful family atmosphere, a lovely garden, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!
