I was travelling over 2 weeks, skiing in the day and working in the evening thanks to the 9 hour time difference. The location is a 5 minute walk to the bus stop to get up to the Grand Hirafu Welcome centre and the Ace Gondola so close enough to everything you need, but in a quiet side street. Facilities are excellent, including the washer dryer, this is the first ski trip I am not taking home dirty laundry! The room was excellent, clean and comfortable, and once I had got used to the Japanese heating systems in the property I had a very comfortable stay. Kutchan has some great bars and restuarants, and the prices are much better than in the main resorts of Niseko.

The staff is amazing for the hospitality! They always put a smile on face no matter what a request before you asking. I love them and place is quite and clean. They did good job 👍👍👍 Only surrounded area not much thing like restaurants etc.

We feel so lucky to have stayed at Janine’s newly renovated property, and we wish we could have stayed longer. So welcoming, and so helpful when we were navigating the different ski resorts of Niseko. If you have the chance you must arrange with her for dinner, nothing beats her home-cooked food after a long day on the slopes.

This hostel was perfect for a snowboarding trip. Easy to meet people to ride with. Great dorms with privacy. Big social areas. Just 10 min walk from a great onsen. Am now staying in Harifu and I miss the quiet vibes of Annipuri. Also only a 3 minute walk to the ski lifts.
